Don't let the "1" power rating fool you. This rod's blank design is unlike any other spinning rod we make, and it's a lot more powerful than its rating sounds. Its unique design features a soft, flexible tip for tossing both bait and lures, but the magnum butt section is very powerful, giving you total control. It has a lot of uses, but really shines as a light-duty saltwater rod for stripers. Then again, if your ideal day involves parking it on the riverbank and plunking for whatever, this rod also fits that bill perfectly.
