The Golden Squid is a fantastic redesign of the original Reversed Atoms in amber color. This plugs was designed for fishing when one of the Striped Bass's favorite food source is around ....Squid! You ask any of the hardcore surf fisherman around Montauk or Watch Hill about this colored plug and you'll be amazed what response you'll get. The plugs action comes from the amid ship eye with heavy rear weighting to make it slowly walk on top or just below the surface. The best retrieve with this plug is slow. Keep the rod tip high with slight rod tip movement to replicate a wounded squid or baitfish. This is a true classic brought back to life with minor adjustments.
