Were really excited about this product, created in response to suggestions from surf fishermen who were tired of having to wrap their hooks with lead solder to gain a little extra weight so their baits could sink into the strike zone when fishing heavy surf or strong currents. The idea was to add weight without unnecessary bulk, and create a hook that holds the bait securely. Just how securely? These hooks have two barbs on the shaft that really grip the bait, so no glue is needed! Works with many other soft plastics too!
