The Rhythm is a mid priced hybrid large arbor fly reel that has been named the “Modern Day Gunnison” by many guides and professionals. The Gunnison was introduced in the 1980's, remained in our product line for more than fifteen years and was considered to be the most durable fly reel every produced – until now! The Rhythm drag system is precise and sensitive, and capable of protecting the lightest tippets even when battling world-class fish. It is lightweight, yet built sturdy enough to take the abuse of heavy angling. Each reel in this series is designed with a specific diameter and width to maximize the properties of drag consistency and quick line retrieval. The Rhythm series is perfect for those anglers who are equally concerned about impeccable drag performance, aesthetics and rugged durability. And when you consider that our original Gunnison series was honored with more industry awards than any other fly reel in the world, it becomes clear that the Rhythm's success in taking Gunnison 's place in the market is no small accomplishment.
