"From Stellwagen Bank to Watch Hill, this bug smoked some fat bass these past few summers! It was the fly of choice around Chatham and Gay Head for some silly blitzes of giant stripers gorging themselves on big ocean sand eels and squid. This might possibly be the best fly ever created for fishing areas where ocean sand eels are prevalent. I’ve also done quite well with it in salt ponds and while sight-casting the flats. The finished fly is 5” - 7" long and is tied on a 2/0 Mustad 34007 hook." - Dave Skok
