All lures feature all stainless steel hardware 316 SS through wire construction, Crok Heavy Duty swivels, and Wolverine Split Rings.The paint job on these lures is the most impressive we've seen. Just holding one of these lures in your hand and you're amazed at how life-like the paint finish is. The Troublemaker is possibly the best small Danny on the market.  It starts swimming at a slower speed then almost any other Danny.  If you like to c-r-a-w-l your Danny across the surface this is the one.  Holds well in big surf and casts very well for a metal lip.

Swimming Tips:
  • Fish this plug slow, the slower the better. When fished right this lure will slide and snake just below the surface making a nice V wake drawing fish from all around.
  • Try adding occasional rod twitches to make this lure roll making it look injured.
  • If you want to tweak the action of the plug try bending the eye to get your desired action. Bending the eye down makes the plug stay on surface, bending the eye up makes the nose go under surface.
  • Try fishing the muted, softer colors at low light or during the day and your darker colors at night or in the surf.
  • Match your baits. If menhaden are present try fishing that color as Troublemaker Lures paint finish's are almost life-like in and out of the water.
  • Troublemaker Lures warranties plugs for any manufacturers defects like cracks or broken terminal tackle. If you have any issues Troublemaker Lures will refurbish a replacement no questions asked.They do not however warranty lures against damage from rocks, piers, bluefish, or any other obstructions that make cause breakage.
