Left Hook Pilgrims Make Anglers Happy
Sep 13 2012 4:10PM
|The Left Hook Pilgrim has been getting a lot of praise lately. I recently purchased a few lures as gifts for some friends of mine and made a point to include this lure in the batch, because not only does it LOOK good, it's fishy. It's more than done it's share to earn it's place on the SWE wall. . . just as it has in many of our client's plug bags.|
Anybody have any questions about this lure? Would anyone like to share their experience with the Pilgrim? I remember George saying you could even 'jig' this pencil when the fish got picky.

|cant say enough good things about them, but heres a start! |
they cast amazing, best distance casting pencil i own, especially in that weight range.
small profile mimics most small bait we get around here, mullet, macs, spearing, etc.
durable finish and proven fish catching colors.
custom paint jobs available.
i would say 90 percent of canal regulars have a least one left hook in their bag. probably more but literally all the guys i know that fish it have one.
hooks dont tangle, strong vmcs, and hardware all around.
sinks, but easily comes to the surface even in calm water. easy to work too. and if you know how i fish my pencils its very fast and spaz like.
the ability to "jig" it or "swim" it under the surface. also nice when fish are busting it but not hooking up, slow it down and hits em in the face.
i have one set up for jigging the canal, no belly hook, just a big ss siwash, took some nice fish on it just the other night.
made one at a time and well cared for thru the process.
