Great for anglers who might wade for bonefish or other skinny water species or while on terra firma and not in the surf or in rough water. I would not use while wet wading deep water or when the seas are rough in a boat as they have popped off my pant waist before. Great for using when you can find them when they pop off other than this I love this feature for quickly getting plier sheath off and for the ease of use for people who might not like a belt. Also clips onto the windshield of my center console for easy grabbing when needed.
