Not sure really. I do know that Hot Sauce can eat seals in other reels. There was the infamous "bleeding Van Staals" incident. A few Van Staals came into the shop spitting up red Hot Sauce. Apparently someone in Tulsa thought it would be smart to fill the crankcase of the VS with Hot Sauce and it ate the rubber seals resulting in the reels leaking red fluid out all over the place.

I'd bet Superlube would be fine, but it might be worth looking into first. I don't think there's anything vulnerable inside a Cabo that Superlube could really hurt.
