I think he is making Cowboys this yr.Heard a shop out on LI had some.
Metal Lips, There are so many to choose from.
Depends on what I wanna do wit em.I wanna reach out an touch someone I have a Musso deep danny style I made goes 3+ oz at 7 inches.just add white water.Flat water i have a array of lefty's an wades that just Kill. For yr's the old gibbs danny was my standard.I also loved the 40's for the bigger profile.Have gotten some decent fish on a Hab A Tat forty that swimms pissa.Thats funny u say that about the BM danny's. I always like em better when there was some pull to get em going. His jr's with some tunning an bigger front hook is good in current. Not too much action.Skin goes over em nice also.
Mostly cause of the gear I use I tend to use bigger MLips. There are times some may get more but I always get some an sometimes better ones.Got lots of big fish on other lures but it is tough to beat the First Light cat an mouse game with the fish on topwater Metal Lips.Or the anticipation of strike as ur lure comes in perfect along the edge of a rock where it's deeper from water washing around it an u know a bass sits on the lee side.I can call all the hits.Sometimes they don't even have to swim they just have to be there.Just hold on.
