I tend not to buy much "bargain" priced stuff as it usually tends to disappoint.
And right now a
VS or Saltiga is out my budgetary limitations so I can't comment on the highend reels.
With that being said the Shimano
Spheros is a fanastically great spinning reel for the price.Its no VS for sure but if you pay attention to it it'll take care of you.
Of course Penn 700 series reels have to be mentioned.
