and as far as the rod if i understand you are refering to actual boat rods possibly even with roller guides. i would not reccomend a rod such as these primarly due to their fiberglass consruction and excessive weight. maybe if you tell me what your shinking of doing i could recommend some sort of graphite rod with the length and power needed at a resonable weight |
