I would be out right now if it wasn't for the fact that we ran out of fresh bait... Everything i threw out was ignored except for this little white custom danny... but with some monster blues on the prowl i wasn't about to get it destroyed....
Chunked pogies was what the bass wanted and they were in on full force but excited as we all were we acted like "overly excited" due to the fact that our rods were bending (yes the loomis 1267 does bend) and drags screaming... managed to land 1 fat slob @ 44" and another guy fishing with us droped one as he dipped the rod to pick it up that was just as big right at his feet... tide turned and it was nothing but doggies....
I won't give up my plugging rods anytime soon but man o' man it's been a long time since i have seen that kind of action... |
