I reckon I should clarify my post, having just read it, my partner got a bunch of schoolies on plugs and lost the keeper. I caught one on a
popper and the rest on a flatwing. Pretty cool when the fly rod out fishes the spinning rod. The last few fish were 26", despite all our efforts to grow them bigger.
