If you're already deep wading, you might as well get a wetsuit. It's safer and more comfortable.

I don't directly connect getting deeper with catching more. I do feel I can fish where I want, when I want, more comfortably. So it's possible I'm catching more fish, but it would be tough to quantify. I KNOW several of my big fish last year were from a spot that I simply can't reach in waders. And it is fun...
