I've had great success with the blue crippled herring, bluefish,striped bass and believe it or not I even caught a herring with a crippled herring!! Well I snagged it on a retrieve, but i still caught it!! The 2oz. version works well when the surf is not too rough, let it hit bottom and work the rod tip on the retrieve every few seconds.... |
