Being a fly tyer, i love tying bucktail swiash hooks that match the plug. Sometimes ill put some saddle hackles in there if i want to get a long skinny profile. A few long saddle hackles look great behind a
needlefish, and give it an even longer apperance in the water. As far as adding weights, i usually leave the plug alone. I figure that the very talented plug builders these days do a good job weighing them, so i need not mess with them.
