I'd opt to use the
surf hogs for two reasons. They have imbedded eyes which stripers love to hit and they are impregnating with stinky fish oils. So I like to think they are the no brainer pick. Rig them onto a
Pt. Jude wobblehead with that as the only hook required as they are going to hit up top by the eyes anyway and by not using that back hook you won't be snagging any rocks.
