I've been out with mixed results. Having an easier time finding the fish in the sakonnet. The wind and tide is no obstacle in the hobie

Peddled yesterday from 2AM to 7:30 AM in the sakonnet trolling eels and fishing big dannies and topwater spooks. Only 1 good fish 37" for all the effort. some rats and many, many teeth. I was @2.5 miles south of the launch when I decided to quit and it only took me a little over 20 min to get back. That was with a dumping tide, decent NW wind and whitecaps. Now I was definately in workout mode and knew I would be done for the day after that run but damn that hobie can eat up some territory
