 The Dormant Fisherman
IT IS 2:30 A.M. technically, Wednesday morning, and just got in from 7 hour fishinf trip. I went out around Newport, Narragansett Bay. My friend caught 2 small blues, and I caught zilch, nothing, crap. I keep hearing how fishing is suppose to be better in September and October? Fishing was pretty good about a month or so ago, but since then, has progressively gotten worse, and worse. What is going on? Is this a bunch of bull to get us all to keep buying lures and bait, etc.? I must say, I am so disgusted after tonight, that I am done. Unless I hear the bass or blues or something are running like crazy at every corner of the bay, my boat sits, and so do I. I am so fed upo with the terrible fishing, it is just not worth it anymore. Sorry about rambling, but had to vent. Don't know if it's me, if I am fishing the wrong places or with wrong bait or lures, but can't figure it out, and no one seems to be able to help.
