Thank you all for you comments.It is gratifying to be able to share some observations and find out that someone has put them in practice and done well.Its just one strategy that works among many......I for one have been humbled recently at Cutty.Coming from place were we thrive on fast current and/or white water and finding out flat and slow water was an eye-opener.It made me realize just how much I didn't know.

Which is good.A surfcaster should be challenged all the time ,its what makes us better in a long run.I did however have to do some serious rethinking about the book I am finishing up.Cutty is am magical place....cant wait to go again
