Normally I would never burn a spot, but due to the shear scale of what's going on and the small size of the fish this really won't matter.
Newport is in the middle of a large scale assault by bass under 20 inches and blues of a similar size range. Brenton Point in particular.
This is pretty much the ultimate for kids if you want to get them into fishing. The fish fed continuously at my feet tonight the entire time I was there trying to catch something larger.
Light tackle and fly anglers might want to jump on this as well unless you're hunting bigger fish. |
