That has been my experience as well but the report I got was from a pretty reliable person who has a friend up there that is on the water pretty often and he said there were some SBFT sighted within the last couple of days. I would like a few more confirmed sightings myself before getting optimistic but it is encouraging just the same. The mahi were a definite plus and totally a surprise, I had heard rumors of them being sighted inshore recently but I had no thoughts of targeting them or seeing them for that matter. I don't think there are many of them around and I would not plan a trip just to look for them but the idea that you might run into some is cool. |
