Riddle me this please. My brother and myself were on the Squantum harbour last night between 5 and 9:00 PM. I caught two bluefish around 6 Lbs a piece. The water surface started to boiled around 8PM (Sun down & Dark already). We threw everything we had at them and got nothing.. Not even a nibble... Any ideas? Darter, a Holo Blueback Smack it Popper, a Yellow smack it popper, even a Kasmaster 2oz Mack color.
These fishes were jumping and taking peanut bunker all around us but we can not catch them no matter what we tried... Can they see at night?
anyway, what do we need for night time fishing the next time we run into another one of these surface action (besides an Eel)? Thanks for any help...
