 no fish for me
went down last night ended up sleeping in my car put the yak in at p.j not even 100 feet out and a school of albies started blitzing right next to me made a few cast with the wrong fly and that was it they went back down and disappeared. didnt see any surface activity the rest of the morning lots of baby bunker some as big as 5 inches. checked out a few more spots heading west trying to escape the wind got to Watch Hill couldnt find any parking that wasnt residents only with a threat of towwing. so i packed it up and went home im now 0/2 in Rhode Island maybe next time I come down I can meet up with some one whos a local? im not gonna give up on the place theres too much salt water and bait down there coming back to New Hampshire is such a buzz kill! any one hook up today? |
