The fall run is an extended period of time that to some degree starts in August. There are peaks and valleys, and it will continue until all the fish have passed and that isn't a set time or temperature either.
There will be times when the fishing is easy, where there are birds over fish (usually schoolies) and everyone will catch and there will be times when there will be better quality but the fish won't come easily. And there will also be times where certain spots have neither and you either have to travel to where the fish are or wait for the next batch of fish.
Bottomline is that especially right now with the warm water temps there's no reason to give it up just yet. The albies haven't left yet. Boston Harbor is alive with big fish eating adult bunker. Check out wdmso's nice fish from around Plymouth as well.
Lastly the forums haven't changed at all. The home page has been revised and may be what's causing the confusion. Once you are actually in the forums everything should be exactly the same. |
