I am sure it's me, and there are people still catching out there, but a fall run....... no way....no longer believe in it......this is what happened last year too. This has been the worst fishing I have had all year, and I have been fishing with a guy who has fished for 30 years, and he is in agreement.
Just some ideas to chew on, if what you're doing is not working, you need to change. I see it all the time, fisherman wait for the fish to adapt to their style and not the other way around. We all know their is planty of bait around, and some big bait hanging way up in Providence, it has to eventually drop out, and when it does, you need to be ready. Will it come out all at once, or will it spend time in the bay for the big girs; to hone in on it? Dont know, but thats what I am thinking about and planning for. This time of year, its hit or miss. I been averaging 2 nights a week in the bay and have mostly blues and a few marginal keepers. No bass at all in 2 weeks! I will be venturing out more to the reefs in J and N as well the rocks in Narr. Migrating fish will be coming by and I hope I'm around. I do think the migration will eb slow due to teh warm weather and bait. We'll see!!!
