LOL,,,, some great responses to my thread.........thanks to all of you.
Trust me, I am not frustrated like I was last year. I get it a little better than then, and I can't complain at all. If I don't catch another fish this year then, oh well, I caught a lot of fish this year, and have nothing to complain about. I started the year with my goal to catch my first 20 pounder, and hoping I would reach that goal. I caught six 20 pounders this year. Now, as you can expect, I want a 30. ha ha. But, not holding my breath on that one. So, to get back on track.........not complaining about my season at all, and have done as well as I have from all the info I have gotten from this forum, and from fishing with people I have met in the trip sharing forum, which by the way, was a great forum to start. I just keep hearing how the fall run is, and last year, everyone said, it passed us by. Now this year, I am hearing the same hype, and because of the bait, it will be great...... Yet, don't know of anyone that is catching anything, with the exception of a few guys that post their pics here, but that is a handful a guys out of how many fisherman? So, we will see if I am proved wrong. Won't be the first time, ha ha, so .......
"NO FISH", I am holding you to your prediction. Just kidding. I may go out this weekend, or maybe Monday, since I have the day off, cuz it's the start of my vacation week, but, going to Florida for a week, so my luck, if there is a fall run, it will start and be over the week I am gone. OK, if I go out this weekend, I will let you all know how I did, and post pics of anything I catch. If I catch the monster, I will eat crow, and have you guys over for a late season striper cookout. Good luck all.
