I have been east. I was so far east last Sunday, I was seeing Chinamen everwhere. Went to Sakonet, and all around Stonehedge for hours and hours. I launched at Fort Adams, went all around in front of Brento Point, past both beaches and to Stonehedge and back again, and was skunked again. That is part of the reason I am so aggrevated. I have been everywhere except Point Judith, which is a little far out there for me. I hear people say, go up the bay, Barrington Beach, go out north to Breanton Point and Castle Hill, go east to Stonehenge. NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING, and oh yea, "NOTHING". I hear these great stories about people catching 40 bass, not just once, but twice in a week. 30 and 40 pounders. I am going to tell my grandkids that one. I appreciate the feedback, and the advice to not put up my poles yet, but until I can see the bass, and can walk across them, or something close, I can't believe the stories anymore. As I said, I have not caught a keeper since mid August, and have been completely skinked on my last 5 or 6 outings I think. So, you tell me, would you be discouraged, and convinced that the fishing is done for this year? I keep hearing that September and October is suppose to be better for bass, and they are bigger. Is that true? I can't believe any of that. I have been so thrilled to fish, and so looked forward to it, now I am looking for something I would enjoy as much. I have no idea what it could be, because I will not hunt animals with a gun or bow. I don't belive in it. Well, good luck to all of you on your outings. I will still love to hear of your successes anyway, as long as it is a true account. Stay in touch, and let me know when the bass are just jumping into the boats, cuz that's the only way I will catch one. LOL
