Default first attempt needEEL fish

I decided to try to paint a needlefish in an eel pattern, I already spend everyday with an airbrush in my hand for my "real" job and I really admire the work that the plug builders and carvers produce. At some point I'd like to try to sneak a lathe past Mrs. W into my basemant and try turning some of these things. I wish I'd had a grey/blue eye for it like the actual eel in the picture. This one is 7 inches 2 oz. I'm going to try a 9 inch today and try to duplicate the very light highlights under the chin and belly. I used a lot of transparent colors to make it look very slimy.
