was it just a fad or an effective fish catching addition ? apparently Point Jude is introducing a flaptail on a
tin at an upcoming show, the commotion is picked up by the lateral line of a bass before it can ever see a lure, flaps and spinners were seemingly popular in the 40's 50's etc. but when I think about them now I think freshwater primarily,...don't see em' much in modern plugs and I wonder why when it's such a simple piece of jewelry to add to make a lure more effective....
