I didn't like the look of Ocean Drive and I'm still crispy from last night's fishing marathon in the big seas and East winds so i think I'm going to take the night off.
We could do a "Frightnight's Frustrations" part of the blog/fishing report...
I'm somewhat serious about that actually. People could chime in with their thoughts, ideas, and experiences.
Working in the shop all the time I get to see people just getting into fishing feeling discouraged ALL THE TIME. You are far from alone on that front. The learning curve can be steep in the first couple of years.
I would like to find additional writers. We obviously can't pay for writing, but some sort of store credit might not be out of the question for quality content.
For now, if everyone just keeps the fishing report section well used that will work as well if not better then my fishing reports. Most of what I write is a review of the past week up to that point. Best things to be taken from it are where the fishing WAS good. At this point, for the most part the fish are moving slowly to the West along the coast so it's easy to guesstimate where they might be moving next.
I'll also start a "September in review" thread. I think you'll find most people, at least those who fish around Newport found the month to be VERY disappointing, for the most part.
