High tide is the best to time to fish off the dock, correct? (Night time works best for me) Don't know much about Salt water fishing and just moved out here, so I've got to get down the basics. Should I use lights to attract the squid? When can I start fishing for squid? Ohhh...so many questions!?

I know I shouldn't be getting too jumpy for a couple more weeks, but I just can't help myself for trying....just want to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks!
