try to get together w/ someone that will let you fish w/ their bailess and see how you take to it, I converted my 704 with the kit and really liked the transition but it wasn't without bumps and frustrations here and there...just bought the
Spheros 14 w/ the bailess option and while I haven't been fortunate enough to fish a
VS or Z for any period, I can't imagine a reel operating more flawlessly than this bailess Spheros...fished it the first time in the dark w/ a full spool of new line providing plenty of opportunity for disaster and could not have been happier, I still aspire to owning a VS but for now this thing is fantastic!
