I believe they get "trout" (same as specks Arden?) from shore. Bucktails with soft plastic tails used to be popular at inflows/outflows (like breachways). Some places have long wooden peirs for fishing too.
Most of the boat charters will go for spanish or king mackeral, but not sure if its the right time of year. A little internet/phone recon should get you the info you need.
