Default the legend continues...

Matt Perry went large yesterday. REALLY large.

It takes a team to deal with a fish like this; a good angler, a good captain, a good gaff shot, and multiple people to pull it over the edge and into the boat. Matt did a remarkable job bringing this fish boatside for a gaff shot in around 20 minutes.

This is the biggest spin rod tuna I've ever personally seen, which weighed in at 165 pounds dressed. I saw the strike occur from about a 1/2 mile away. Van Staal 250, 50# Power Pro, and a St Croix SWS70MHF were the weapons of choice. A Tattoo's Tackle Sea Pup (you can see it deep in the tuna's mouth) was the lure that got the attention of this beast.
