the studded rubber sole is an option! they work great! the sole just
snaps out and you can snap in a mess of dif. soles (boat sole, felt, studded felt, sticky rubber and even golf spikes) they have a promotion going on now..when you buy the boots you can send in the trail soles for all but the studs for $6.95 shipping! sending mine in this week for the felt studs.
