The previous all we had alot of baby conger eels( or at least we think they were congers) in the oyster gear. They were the same length and diameter of an american eel. The eyes on these eels were much larger than an eel used for bait. This past week we also saw a few eels in New Harbor swimming around at night. I had more hits with squid jigs with the bass than I did with fresh squid around the island. |
