I own a consignment antique furn. store in NH and just found this site because we will be in Newport area this Thursday anyway.....
We just got in the above mentioned rod and reel and wondered if any of you guys would give me an idea of what it is worth. The condition for its age seems pretty good except one guide is missing . It is a large two piece rod @ 8' and the reel works and seems period to the rod. @ 1963.
While I am here any general areas to hit in the bay area? We will be in a aluminium cc and the am seems bumpy outside but the pm looks ok according to the forecast for what it is worth. Thanks for any help NH/MA fishing is getting weak but tuna were still popping at the isle of shoals outside rye nh last week!
