Default st. croix spinning rod

Last year i purchased a 7' premiere surf rod, and after reading some threads everyone is using 10' rods. i normally surf for bass off the beaches and what not and i was wondering if i made the right choice in a rod? and if not i was wondering if i could trade it in for a bigger one.

no promises but i can tell you that the 10' is more expensive then the 7' and at a minimum there will be a price difference

Default Larger Rod

Want to sy Hi, Good site this is my first post.
One big advantage of a longer rod is longer casts and probable bigger plugs & tins. I fish jettys and use 8ft St. Criox Ben Doer on a open beach 9 or 10 might be better, rember the bigger the rod the more effort I like the 8ft so I can spend more time fishing but I am not as young as I was that why I bought a boat,
O'D
