| Had a shot a some albies from shore recently and wondered what are your go to flies for albies? There were peanuts and large silversides in the area. But perhaps it was the presentation as the fish are so fast that it's all about timing. But that being said what do you find that works most often and what line are you using? FishHawk |

| I guess the question to ask yourself is did you really get a good chance to display the fly to these fish mentioned. More times then not guys say they had shots but they really didn't. Meaning if your fly lands in the "wheel house" or shit show did you get any lookers? That is a good shot in my book. If not then more times then not its presentation. I've seen anglers take a huge fly maybe a squid pattern or a huge bunker pattern and actually get a fish to eat it but when the numbers of fish arre huge like @ Harkers Island. I think before you switch your fly really be honset with yourself and say did you get a real shot. If you fish a smaller pattern most times and get a real shot I would have to say 9 out of 10 your going tight if everything goes right. If not switch out or change your strip or presentation. Just my 2 cents. Good luck out there! Corey |
