Default Best Reel by price range...

Let's break this into 3 categories:

What is your favorite Budget, Mid-Range, and Luxury Fly Reel? Let's say for a 9wt?

Budget = < $250
Mid-Range = $250 - $450
Luxury = $450 - Diamond Plated C-Vex or Pacific

Inexpensive - Cortland Endurance (around $100) I haven't actually used one but have checked them out at a few shows and they look and function excellant.

Mid Range - TFO's TFR 425 Large Arbor (around $260) I've owned one of these for 2 seasons and so far it's beyond my expectations. I would put it side by side with my Ross Canyon (which would be my 1st choice but it's out of production).

High End - Bauer Rogue 5 (around $415) I also do not own this reel but it's on my wish list, I have checked it out and it's quite impressive. My Bauer M4 is a solid reel and I have faith that the Rogue 5 will upstage it.

That's all,

Later,
