We are starting our fall redfishing here on the Neuse River in NC. The water is still warm but the fall patern has really picked up over the last week. We are also fly rodding specks and flounder. The peak of this is yet to come with prime time occurring over the next 2 months. I hope you are got a look a Johm Kumiski's article in this issue of "Saltwater Fly Fishing" on redfishing the SE.
The first of the albacore have shown up at Cape Lookout/Harkers with the best of that still to come.
Spec Fever Guide Service offers redfish trips on the Neuse River and PAmlico Sound and at Morehead City and false albacore trips out of MOrehead City/Harkers Island so give me a shout if you're interested in coming south this fall.
