...wondering if anyone has any feedback (good or bad) about using their product as tippet ?

...if so ....

Default Link to check them out...

Haven't used them. But here is the link to the website if anyone wishes to check them out:

I've tried the Tyger Wire, I wasn't sure I could quantify it as being any better then the American Fishing Wire. The shop has always carried both and the AFW has always been the far better seller, but that's at least partly because it's more well known.

It depends on what grade and pound test you're using, but I found the AFW a little easier to knot on average.

Default pre-tie leaders

,...is that a good idea to set a bunch of flies up in advance ?

...how bout using a loop to loop connection to the leader ? good idea or bad ?

...again the length...with a 20lb Tyger leader is 6 inches too much of a good thing ?

Thanks

Default tyger leader

i use the tyger 30lb as tipped for Blues and I find that you only really need about 6" or so. When I use it with plugs, i add about a foot and a half to my mono leader.
