Find some who can tie and ask them for a beginers lesson. I haven't met a tier so far, that would say no to a reasonable request of that nature. Saltwater flies like the ones I'd like to get a swap going for, don't need to be as precise as a tiny sweetwater dry fly. But on the other hand, you still require the basic techniques (no secrets) to whip up some on the most common Striper flies. I'd like to say "Hey, why bother with tying if you're not interested with the flyfishing" But, I do know a professional tier that doesn't flyfish so... it happens I guess. For me, I get a great deal of pleasure from hooking a keeper with my own creation.

Wink Well...No

I'm not sure you understand what a fly swap is. Other than what I have suggested, I really can't give you any more advice on the matter. Good luck.

Talking I'm Pleased Bauerman

Well then... This is starting to look like the makings of a swap I'll start pm-ing to see whom, that have posted can give it a serious go. Please spread the word. I think 12 tiers is a good number to cut it off at. So to all interested... By posting up that You're in along with the fly that you'd like to submit will lock you in. This will make sure we'll all get back a nice mix at the end. So post up early and get your selection locked in.
