Default Trolling Tube&Worm from YAK

I've been kayak fishing for awhile now..

Just gonna get into trolling w/T&W that I bought from The Saltwater Edge

Question: Besides sea worms/nite crawlers from your backyard, has anyone used platic worms before w/success?

Peace-Andy

Default worm substitutes

I to plan to dedicate some time to tube and worm trolling. Uncle Josh has a new tube and worm strip that a captian at the Providence show said worked great and were very durable. He was sold out but I ordered some online they look great and the natural you can dye your own color. The poof will be determined by the stripers. ofcourse nothing beats the real thing, that seems to be scarce and expensive

Berkley Gulp! sandworms are a good option as well.

Anything thats stinks like fish will work (easy boys).

I have used strips of mackerel belly, strips of clam, sea worm etc.

sea worms definately worked the best.

Berkley sandworms have worked great, although if you can find the real thing it would be your best choice. I soak my TNW's in Seabait sandworm potion, this seems to produce better results. Seven drops per TNW. The real trick here is to find structure and go as slow as you possibly can. If there's some sort of scent on the TNW hook, you should be catching stripers if they are there.
