Default Canal

Sort of a quick report for you.

Launched for the season in Sandwich this morning -- too much work to do getting her ready to go and scout around, but my 30 second trip into the canal revealed a serious group of birds working the east end down past the bulkheads. Gannets were also working the Herring hard.

First ones are always there before the masses start looking.

Default Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge

I was at the Bell Road by RR bridge on 5/10 by 2 hrs before the high slack tide. A fella pulled out a 27" Striper with his 6" Sluggo.
