Default Great Little Lure...

I've gotten a number of good steers from the SWE staff, and the last was no exception...thought I'd try the Rebel "Jumping Minnow" they'd been recommending, and as primarily a top water plugger, boat and beach, was curious how our North Fork fish would respond...tried the "Bone" model today, and schoolie Bass were all over it, last of the Flood about 5:PM, Cutchogue...gonna try a couple other colors also for different lighting conditions...the best thing about it is, even though relatively small in size, it casts like a bullet, having little wind resistance...had a little trouble at first figuring how to work it, then settled into the classic pencil popper action, the little thing flips and flops better than most pencils...go for it...
