Default NCSWFC Meeting: March 15th

NEWPORT COUNTY SALT WATER FISHING CLUB
PO BOX 2
NEWPORT, RI 02840

March 2007 Newsletter

Dear Member,
There will be a regular meeting of the NCSWFC on Thursday, March 15th. Due to a schedule conflict at the Yacht Club this meeting will be held at the SEAMAN”S CHURCH INSTITUTE on Market Square in Newport starting at 7:00 pm. Parking will be available across the street in the Marriott Hotel parking lot.

Guest Speaker – Al Gagliarduci
Al “Gag” Gagliarduci will be our guest speaker for this meeting. Al will be giving a presentation covering his line of Classic Wood striper plugs. Al has been marketing plugs since the early 1980s and his product line has been very effective for catching striped bass and bluefish. His recent addition of wooden classic lure designs has received good reviews. He will also have his products for sale and available at a discount. All sales proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

Annual Dues
Annual dues ($20) for 2007 are now due and payable at the meeting or by mailing them to the club at NCSWFC, PO Box 2, Newport, RI 02840.

See you at the meeting.

Correction to the newsletter: Parking will be available at the Newport Harbor Hotel Parking lot (across from the Seaman's Church) - NOT THE MARRIOTT.

Sorry for the blunder.

Arrow How does one join?

Hey, Pete and DZ!

Have yet to join any club, anywhere. I don't live in NPT CO, but I have family that does and I do quite a bit of fishing there. Would like very much to be considered for an invitation into membership. Don't know how exclusive youse guys are, but I'll do me best to contribute and won't intentionally tarnish such a notable Club of surfcasters.

Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration.

Happy Birthday, Arden!
Too bad ya won't be here for the last nip of winter this FRI.;-)

Thanks, Iron Mike!

Will see youse guys at the Show, should be feeshnominal!!
Hey there was a time, not toooooo long ago, when "see you at the Show" meant mosh pits, hallucinogenics, and vintage bootlegs of some of Jerry's and Phil's best LIVE stuff.

Glad to be on the other side of those days.....................

Sea ya soon, and thanks for the membership.
Next month should be cool, and I am most happy and extremely grateful to be among NPT's finest fishermen.

Jess
