| Giant red drum have arrived in the Neuse River here in North Carolina. This late summer/early fall fishery really kicked off the last 10 days. We are catching fish on cut bait both during the day and on our evening trips. This is really worth the drive!! The fishery is very consistent for red drum over 40 inches....35 to 70 pounds!! Catch and release only... We still have tarpon and are catching seatrout, flounder and redfish in the shallows. Capt. Gary North Carolina Fishing Guide |
